Mr.Fernandez,

I was very impress with your back ground and leadership. As a retired Miami Police Officer I understand the meaning of professionalism in Law Enforcement.

The Hendry County SO is currently a joke in my eyes. I now live in Port Lebelle and the Mayberry Police Department method does not work.

I see a growing gand problem in the area how could you not look around. The othe day my wife and I went to the U-Save and two SUR-13 gang member were riding thier bikes in the parking lot. I know this because I use to be a gang investigator.

We need change and a more professional, with less of the Good Old Boy type of leadership. I meet the current Sheriff once and he appeared to waiting to retire. We need agressive policing before Hendry County gets worse.
